MAIN COMPETENCIES COVERED

The course aims to transfer competencies to acquire basic theoretical knowledge and initial broad, general and specific skills related to:

• Identifying principles of the DMAIC approach and of Lean Six Sigma methodology as well as its main basic tools, in agreement with ISO standards and ISO 13053-2/2011 13053-1/2011, also respecting the curriculum content recommended by the International Association for Six Sigma Certification (IASSC)
• Working with others to identify and quantify opportunities for improvement,
• Organizing multidisciplinary teams (process organization), where necessary
• Leading improvement projects or facilitating Green Belt Projects using the DMAIC methodology,

ASSOCIATED COMPETENCIES

• Training, coaching and mentoring Green Belts on DMAIC methodology and associated process improvement techniques, and
• Participating in all gate reviews directly through prepared presentations of the work accomplished to-date with an emphasis on the accomplishments in the phase being reviewed.
